Service, Supper and Lenten Book Study at St. Francis
February 28 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
St. Francis’s Wednesday night program begins with Holy Communion at 6 p.m. followed by a soup/salad and sandwich supper and a book study. The book this year is Embracing Interfaith Cooperation: Eboo Patel on Coming Together to Change the World. Marcia McCrae (priest-in charge) has invited Ray to share in the worship and study. During this time we will suspend the 5:30 p.m. Wednesday night Communion Service at St. Stephen’s. It will resume during Holy Week. To attend the Lenten suppers, simply bring some food to share. Those with last names beginning with A-J are asked to bring sandwiches, and those with last names beginning with K-Z are asked to bring soup/salad. This system alternates each week beginning on February 21. If you want to read the book beforehand, let Ray know. Call or text him, and/or sign up on the bulletin board outside of the office and he will order a copy of the book for you. We also ask that you sign up if you intend to come to the supper portion of the evening. The folks at St. Francis need a rough count.
